NEWS

Well, I don't have much of anything...surprise, surprise But, I will tell you all that I did give Beau the scrapbook on the last day before break. Megan and I gave it to him during 5th period...which I didn't want to do cuz of other people seeing it. But, Beau promised he's keep it in the box so no one would harass me or anyone else about it and no one said anything to me, so I guess that means nobody else saw it!:) During school anyway. Anyway, he was very appreciative of it and he thanks everyone who helped with it:):) He enjoyed the pics Karen put in very much:):)hehe!!
Also...Megan's birthday was during break. I went over to her house and shopping with her and on the way back from shopping we went to pick up her birthday cake at Buehler's. We had a big surprise when we went in to pick it up from the bakery...It had Purple frosting and flowers on it, and it was Purple INSIDE! AND...to top it All off...The writing on the cake...it said "Happy Bo Day, Megan!" Now, Beau(Bo) was spelled wrong, but oh well. Her mom had happy Bo Day writtne on her birthday. It was quite funny...very interesting:):)hehe:) Also, Beau and his band will be performing at the Varite Show on Tuesday night, Feb. 1st.(hopefully this newsie will be out before then...sorry...I have no ink in my printer!) Me, Karen, Carrie Hudson, Melissa Braden, and Rachael henery(Karen's little sister), will be there, in it, because we are doing a dance to that Spice Girls "Stop," I got talked into it. I'm Ginger, Karen's Posh, Melissa's Baby, Carrie's Sporty, and Rachael's Scarey. Oh well:) It's kinda weird, but hey, who cares:):)

Play Review

Bye Bye Birdie
I have only seen a few plays in my day and I would have to say that Bye Bye Birdie has got to be one of the better ones. I went to see it with Suzanne Orr. This play is where I first saw Beau, where I first noticed his voice was so damn good, and where Suzanne said hi to beau and then I asked if she knew him and she said NO. Scary!:) Anyway, I loved the play for many reasons and some that I have not mentioned and that will remain unmentioned forever with me.

Beau Encounters

This is a new column that a member thought would be a good idea to have (Jill Swartz)

I was walking down the Freshman hallway on my way concert choir and Beau came up to me and started hitting my shoulder. He started singing a song about me and continuously hitting my shoulder. He did that all the way to choir. I also had the unique experience of singing tenor with Beau in the school choir. He is an awesome squad leader - yet abusive - he hit me twice. But who's saying I didn't enjoy it?!?!:):)

This one isn't from a member, but, hey, that's ok:):)
I was standing by my locker, before second period, and all of the sudden beau came by me and hit me twice on my shoulder and said "Hey Kiddo!" Then went on.

So, if anyone has an interesting Beau encounter, then give it to me and I'll put it in:):)

WORKING

"Working." I would have to say that this was an Extremely good play and very well done! And it was basically all done by Mr. Storck's theater students. It was a sad play in most parts of it, however, it had its humorous scenes as well. Adam Vizzo's scene, "The Ex-Copy Boy" was quite entertaining. Although, when it came to the end of the scene, it got sad. Lars's scene and song "Lovin' Al" was also quite funny, with Emily Paterson, Rebecca Little, and Andrea Zurcher and Doo Wop girls, I guess, and Pat Finn who looking like a Pimp or something:) But, it was good:) Adam Vizzo's scene "UPS Man" was funny too cuz he was talking about chasing girls while on the job and stuff like that. It was funny. For the most part though, most of the scenes were sad. Especially the "Fathers and Sons" scene with Beau singing. It was such a Sad one...which takes me to a different yet, the same topic. Now, after the play, Beau told me that he heard Megan laughing during that song (Fathers and Sons) and that is sooo not a song to laugh during. However, Megan said it was Jackie. So, Beau said Jackie wasn't allowed to wear purple anymore cuz of that and he said she should be kicked out of the club. However, Jackie said she Didn't laugh and she's all mad about it. But, even if someone was laughing, I'm sure they weren't laughing at Beau or the song, because that's just not a song to laugh at and I don't think anyone would. Although, I don't think anyone should be laughing during it for any reason, but regardless of that, it's over and no one should be mad about it.:):) K, so, it was an AWESOME Play!!!! Very Kewl!!!! And, should've helped with itJ but, oh well. It's over:) K, so, bye-bye:)

:)TIZZY!!:)

Bye everyone!! That was the first issue of 2000!!:):) And remember to keep giving me stuff for the newsie. It can be anything. Whatever you want to put in. It doesn't matter. Anything you wanna write/say, any news, play reviews (which I want), and encounters. Just as long as I have stuff to put in:):)

Another little bit of info I feel like sharing with you all. I got the Bye Bye Birdie soundtrack for Christmas. I don't know if anyone has, or has heard it and has seen the play but if you have then maybe you'll know what I'm talking about. The one I got the Broadway soundtrack with Dick Van Dyke on it. OK so, I was listening to it and I turned to "Honestly Sincere"-a song that Conrad Birdie sings-and as I listened to it, I just kinda gave the cd player this look-like I was giving the look to the guy himself-and I was just like the way Beau sang it was better. And just because it's Beau or anything. I just didn't care that much for how he sang it. And not just Conrad Birdie's part but Kim's part and Rose's part. Well, Rose's part on the soundtrack(Hillay in the play), was good. But I think I liked Hillary's version better:) And Kim(not sure who played her in play...not from WHS) was better in the play. On the soundtrack she didn't even sound like a teenager. But, Albert's part on the soundtrack was better...hey, it's Dick Van Dyke, and he's awesome, so I can't say that Drew was better in the play. But anyway, just thought I'd share that info with ya:)
Bye-Byes Now!:)
